Unleashed adds in a slew of new features, such as the ability to own pets, visit community centers, and take up five new careers. You can also visit Vacation Island, where numerous activities await. Vacation is exactly what it sounds like, adding a relaxing and tropical flare to your home. This expansion also adds relationships, as well as various character interests and interactions. Hot Date brings some romance to The Sims, by adding a new location for your characters to enjoy date night. The Sims: Complete Collection is an all-in-one collection that includes The Sims, all seven of its expansion packs (Livin' Large, House Party, Hot Dates, Vacations, Unleashed, Superstar, and Makin' Magic), bonus content that was included in The Sims: Deluxe Edition and The Sims: Double Deluxe, and The Sims Creator. I uninstalled the security update, right clicked on the exe, selected run with graphics processor, then high performance NVIDIA processor instead of Integrated graphics, and uninstalled the game and reinstalled it to D drive instead. ( DOOM3 crashed my machine when trying to install to the default location) on occasion. The Integrated graphics chip as a viable graphics card (having no dedicated VRAM is sometimes a problem). It may be the game may not run on laptops that use integrated graphics, as it may not recognise This update is required if you use IE 10, but you can un-install it if you don't use IE 10. There is a Windows security Update - KB 2670838 - that can stop games from loading as youĭescribe if you are off line at the time (the update causes Windows to check for an update to the game). I don't recall using Compatibility settings, but if I were to install with any compatibility settings I would be inclined to use XP sp2.
